I liked having pastel colors because the needles did not blend in with our STEM projects. My STEM club is open to all abilities and these needles helped the students thread the string through the straws for their robotic hand project. They loved the project and I loved that all students had the support to complete the project on their own without getting injured with super sharp needles. The eye of the needle is large enough for a student to feed the twine through it rather easily. The needle is long enough to be pushed through multiple pieces of a plastic straw without bending or getting lost.
