In the years 2012 and 2013, it returned to Europe, bearing the registration YR-ATR and flying for Carpatair in Romania and Alitalia. Finally, in June 2013, it was registered as YU-ALT for JAT Airways and shortly thereafter for Air Serbia. After a long and successful flying career, it was retired in 2022 and underwent a recycling process in Sonderborg, Denmark. The parts obtained during this process now form the basis for our exclusive Aviationtag x Air Serbia Edition.A unique piece of aviation history, handcrafted with precision to preserve the authenticity and individuality of this special aircraft. Depending on the plane, tags may vary in terms of haptics, material thickness and colour. Small blemishes bear witness to the plane’s long history and are an authentic reminder of its glory days over the clouds. Small scratches, flaky paint and imperfections are totally normal and give our Aviationtags their unique charm – the charm of a vintage product crafted from upcycled materials. These quirks are not the result of the production process, they simply reflect the state of the aircraft material we use when it was extracted. The original aircraft paint of this edition is rather sensitive, so please take good care of your tag!If you want to use it as a key-chain or bag-tag we strongly suggest to use the Aviationtag protection cover.Manufacturer: Avions de Transport RegionalModel: 72Registration: YU-ALTLast airline: Air SerbiaATR 72-500: The ATR 72 is a turboprop regional airliner manufactured by the French-Italian consortium Avions de Transport Régional for short-haul cargo and passenger services.
