18″ Compact Wall Mounted Cat Scratcher, Sisal Scratching Post – Grey

I have to admit I was disappointed with this scratching post. The quality of the post itself was great and made similar to other posts that I have purchased with heavy twine and a solid middle. My problem with this post is that the bracket that hooks into the wall is too small. My cat is 17lbs and puts a beating on scratching posts. It needs the ability to withstand him. The wall bracket isn’t sturdy enough or big enough to withstand a large cat hanging from the post. I am also disappointed since the screws to attach it to the wall weren’t in the package that was sent to me. Amazon only has a way to return or replace the item. I only needed the screws sent to me. I don’t need the whole item replaced. I have extra screws to use for the wall bracket in my junk drawer. However, that isn’t the point. The point is that I paid for the screws to be included and want a way to message the seller to just send me the screws, not another whole item.Update: The seller contacted me shortly after I completed this review to rectify the missing screws situation. They were very nice and efficient.
