The media could not be loaded. My cats have decided that our bed’s box spring frame is the perfect place for them to sharpen their claws. It’s a losing battle and I’ve given up trying to stop them. I had resigned myself to just having a torn up frame, but then spotted this kit while looking for sisal rope to do some repairs to our cat trees (which do get used as scratching places too). This didn’t come with any instructions or even any sort of labels so it’s a good thing that I bought this for myself and not sent as a gift to someone else since it might be confusing as to what it is meant to be used for without any prior knowledge. I was just expecting the carpet roll with the foil/adhesive backing, but they also sent some velcro in the form of both squares and a thin roll. I didn’t need these, but it’s nice that they provided it for anyone who might want to try that route instead. It was easy to measure the roll to the length I needed, cut it, peel off the backing covering the adhesive layer, and press it onto our box spring frame. So quick! I was able to cover all 4 corners and still have plenty left. I’ll be using the remainder to replace some of the carpeted areas of our cat trees that are looking a little worn while I’m also replacing the sisal rope sections. Our cats have already started scratching at those repaired areas and while it’s held up so far, I’m sure that it will eventually need to be replaced again. At $20 for this kit, it’s definitely far easier and cheaper to buy this every once in a while to do whatever repairs are needed to our box springs, cat trees, etc rather than buying all new so I’m very happy to have found this product. I recommended it for any other cat parents with very active scratchers.
